Inga Knysh

About

Born in 1990 in Moscow, where she studied art, Inga pursued her passion for painting while living in London and is now based in Rotterdam. She works primarily with oil paint, experimenting with its expressive potential to capture a range of moods. Inga combines working from direct observation and imagination, both in the studio and en plein air.

Inga Knysh is a visual artist whose work explores themes of nostalgia, memory, authenticity, and vulnerability. Her experiences of moving between countries have inspired her to delve into themes of home, loneliness, and love. Inga’s paintings reflect her deep personal connection to colour. She explores its power to evoke emotional responses and its varied meanings across cultures, capturing its emotional depth and significance in her work.

In addition to her art practice, Inga shares her expertise through private art teaching. Currently training as a life and career coach, Inga is building an international coaching practice. She combines her creative insights with coaching skills to guide others in their artistic and personal growth, driven by her own passion for continual self-development.
